Understanding the vaccine against Corona, the Prime Minister said, “India’s assistance in the crisis is commendable.”

Kathmandu. The Corona vaccine provided by the Government of India to Nepal has been handed over to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

On Thursday, Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Kwatra handed over the vaccine to Prime Minister Oli at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar.

India had earlier announced to provide corona vaccine to Nepal. As per the same announcement, India had sent one million doses of Corona vaccine to Kathmandu on Thursday.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli thanked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of India for providing one million doses of Corona vaccine to Nepal.

He appreciated India’s assistance in the Corona crisis.

Similarly, Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Kwatra said that Nepal-India cooperation would continue. He expressed his commitment to further deepen Nepal-India relations in the days to come.

The government is preparing to vaccinate front-line health workers in the first phase to prevent and control corona infection.
