Discussion to abolish federalism in Baluwatar: Janardan Sharma

Surkhet. CPN-Prachanda-Madhav group leader Janardan Sharma has said that discussions are underway at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar to abolish federalism.

Addressing a protest rally in Birendranagar, Surkhet on Thursday, Sharma claimed that he had received confidential information that a discussion was held in Baluwatar to abolish the principle of proportional inclusion and federalism.

“There is a secret information that there has been a discussion in Baluwatar recently to abolish proportional representation and federalism from the upcoming elections,” Sharma said. “It is very foolish to calculate that we will win the next elections only if proportional representation is abolished.” We will not fulfill such daydreams. ‘

Sharma said unity with the KP Oli group was now impossible. “There can be no unity with the traitors, there is no need for unity with those who take away the rights of the people,” he said.

Leader Sharma said that they are fighting for the rights given to the citizens by the constitution and not for the prestige of the post.

He said it was time to think in favor of a directly elected executive.
