Kathmandu. A review program of the half-yearly work progress of the Nepal Police Action Plan, 2077 BS and the performance agreement signed by the Inspector General of Police with the Chiefs of the Provincial Police Offices for the current fiscal year has been concluded at a function held at the Police Headquarters on Thursday.
On the occasion, Inspector General of Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri said that the Police Headquarters has brought an action plan to give a definite direction to the organization with clear guidelines and added that collective effort and determination of all is needed to make it a success.
Inspector General of Police Thapa Chhetri stressed on the need to move ahead with a security plan with utmost restraint keeping in mind the security sensitivities in the election declared by the Government of Nepal. He mentioned that the presentation based on overall statistics reflects healthy competition and commercialization. He directed to take seriously the responsibility assigned to make the action plan a complete success.
During the program, the Chiefs of all the seven Provincial Police Offices discussed effective management and improvement of peace and security in the province, development of effective crime investigation and technology investigation system, traffic management reform, financial discipline and transparency, complaint management, physical infrastructure and resource management, human resource management system development, citizen. He presented the details of half-yearly work on strengthening the centralized police service flow, protection and promotion of human rights, effectiveness of coordination and cooperation between security agencies and other agencies, disaster management capacity building, commencement and implementation of latest work and other notable efforts and achievements.
On the occasion, Senior Superintendent of Police Bishnu Kumar KC reviewed the progress plan of Nepal Police Action Plan, 2077 BS, Performance Agreement and Police Constable and Police Jawan Targeted Motivation Growth Scheme, 2077 BS.
The program was attended by Additional Inspector Generals of Police, Deputy Inspector Generals of Police, senior police officers and other police personnel as well as virtual presence of the Chiefs of all the seven State Police Offices.
